Here I Am – Original Oil Painting | Talisman of Courage and Sisterhood

CA$3,900.00

36 × 40 inches | Original Oil on Custom Canadian Birch Panel | 1.5-inch Depth

Here I Am is an original oil painting celebrating courage, connection, and the extraordinary beauty of this one wild, fleeting life. A tribute to the women who walk beside us through life's darkest moments, this piece speaks to the power of sisterhood, the safety we find in one another, and our refusal to let fear steal the joy of being alive.

Inspired by the quiet strength of those who listen, who believe us, and who hold our stories gently, Here I Am honours the extraordinary people who make this world feel a little softer. The ones we gather around fires with, break bread with, and laugh beside until the weight of the world feels lighter.

At its heart, this painting is about choosing how we spend the precious time we're given. Because we only get so many sunsets, and I'll be damned if we're going to spend all of them being afraid.

It is an invitation to live fully. To be soft, wild, furious, ridiculous, and unapologetically ourselves. To find beauty even in difficult times, to celebrate the people who make us feel safe, and to refuse to let the darkness swallow all the beautiful things.

Painted in oils on a substantial, custom-made Canadian birch panel, this 36 × 40-inch original has a 1.5-inch profile and offers a striking presence as a one-of-a-kind work of fine art.

A talisman of courage, belonging, and the quiet defiance of choosing joy, Here I Am is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, we can find our way back to one another.

May we always find each other in the darkness. May we be a place of safety for one another.

Here I Am.

I spent the evening at Florencia Bay in the Pacific Rim National Park, Canada with my gorgeous friend, Rhonda, to get the right photos for reference.
