Deanna Lankin (b. 1982) is a Canadian figurative and coastal-landscape artist living and working in Tofino, BC.

Mostly self-taught, she paints exclusively in oils and credits her supportive and loving parents as her reason for being an artist. Lankin’s style combines the antiquity of classical oil technique with a contemporary palette, focusing on the West Coast landscape and its people.

Her work belongs in private collections all over the world.

Lankin brings a fresh, feminine perspective on figurative portraiture and landscapes with her palette of muted colours, sweeping texture and expansive, etheric use of negative space for which she is known.

Her work is currently available online and on display at the Mark Hobson Gallery, Tofino, BC.
